Derbyshire Business Networking (June 2026) at BEAR

  • Great Northern Classics 274-278 Osmaston Road Derby, England, DE24 8AE United Kingdom (map)

Join us for one of Derbyshire’s most welcoming and energising networking events, a relaxed, friendly space to make meaningful connections, spark new opportunities, and enjoy an evening of great conversation.

And for June, come for an inspiring and uplifting evening where Lisa Baggott, Business Advisor at East Midlands Chamber, will be sharing her journey.

This is one of resilience, determination and rediscovering purpose. Starting her career at Barclays at just 15 years old, she worked her way through a variety of roles before making the brave decision to walk away from a career that no longer aligned with her values.

Following a life-changing health crisis after the birth of her daughter, Lisa found herself rebuilding her confidence, career and future from the ground up. With the encouragement of a business advisor who truly listened, she went on to create and grow her own successful creative business, attracting celebrity clients, national recognition and a thriving online audience of more than 22,000 organic followers.

Today, Lisa brings her honesty, humour and real-life experience to supporting start-ups and growing businesses across the region. She is passionate about helping people recognise their strengths, overcome barriers and take meaningful steps towards their goals without judgement or jargon.
